Ink with a story

My story started as a dumb 16 year old with a machine, and luckily it stopped there for a while because I had no clue what I was doing. I would watch as my high school boyfriend’s family tattooer would tattoo the family, and I was amazed at the stories and artistry the trade held.

At 18 I walked into the first shop I wanted to apprentice, and I got the best advice of continuing my Fine Arts degree in college. After dropping out of community college and graduating from Carrington College as a CMA, I threw away my certificate to apprentice at 21.

Unfortunately I chose the wrong artist to apprentice under, but luckily I learned a ton of tips from artists through multiple shops that were happy to tell me their secrets. From there I found my forever home at Lucky Buddha Tattoo where I’ve been since 2020.

Since then I’ve traveled with my bestie (the shop owner Guy) to numerous conventions, and made so many friends within the trade along the way. No matter how long I’ve been tattooing I’m always learning something new, and I’m grateful to the tattooers who’ve been kind enough to teach.

I’ve always loved my anime, video games, and cartoons growing up, and I never would’ve thought I’d be able to put my love of tattooing and those subjects together. Since the beginning I tried! But because I came up in a street shop, my first love in tattooing has been and always will be creating whatever tattoo that tells the best story for my clients to keep forever.
